"You will find no one more invested in
ridding this country of Obamacare (or as is more PC, the Affordable
Care Act). When Rep. Pelosi said “you must pass it to find out
whats in it”, I immediately went on the defensive. As a veteran, a
citizen and a journalist, this is NOT what our country is supposed to
be about. Our elected officials are beholden to US, the voter. Not
the other way around.</div>

"So, I read the proposed legislation.
All nearly 2000 pages. I nodded off on numerous occasions from all
the legalese, but I re-read the sections and plowed on.</div>

"Once finished, I realized that only
about 25% of the bill had any impact on healthcare, most all of it
revolved around insurance and not around caring for the health of the
nation, and much of it had to do with how to pay for and tax the

"I also realized that most of the things
that would actually work at making healthcare affordable to the
average American were purposefully left out. TORT reform would have
limited the expenses by our doctors and health institutions on such
things as compensation and malpractice insurance. These cost savings
would have been seen by the average American in their medical bills.
Any idea of holding pharmaceutical companies to accountability by
limiting how long they can hold patent on a new drug before generic
ones can become available, and also limiting how much they can
recompense for “research” as other countries do, would be a
tremendous boon to those who need these often life saving drugs. Just
two examples of things LEFT OUT of the bill.</div>

"Having said all that, having written a
book with all of this included, having written many articles and many
Opinion pieces on the subject, I am imploring you NOT to go through

"Repeal and Replace might be a good
election rhetoric line, but the reality is that it is an
irresponsible action to take as a legislator.</div>

"Isolate and repair might be a more
responsible strategy. Find the bad parts of the legislation.
Institute corrective actions and make the “Health Care” of
Americans the decisive driver for all you do.</div>

"Yours is a position of responsibility.
You are responsible to the American public. Your job is to not only
“do what is best” but it is to listen to us. We are, in more than

According to members of the board (which, as a disclosure, yours truly is a member), the move came on the heels of a difficult winter that saw their bills increase beyond their income and a notice from their current landlord that she was exercising her options to end their lease after 5 1/2 years.<br />
<br />
The Mission helps members of the community in need - be it issues with hunger, homelessness, joblessness, et al - by not only helping them out in the immediate but in the long run by trying to help them lift up out of their situations. They do this by direct means and by education. They also educate the community at large about these same issues.<br />
<br />
For the past several years, they have worked with other area nonprofits, government agencies, churches and assorted groups, helping hundreds of families and individuals out of their situations.<br />

PA – June 21, 2017– Calling All Angels Mission is moving their
thrift shop – Calling All Angels Thrift Shoppe – to to 214 E
Harford Street in Milford, thanks to the support of members of the
community and two organizations in particular.</div>

Earlier
in the year, after a financial crisis of sorts (expenses were quickly
outstripping income), the Mission had to evaluate if they could keep
the thrift shop open or not. With an outcry in the community that, as
one patron stated, “you just can't close, you do so much good in
the community”, the board of directors decided to look into other
ways of staying open. But then their current location was no longer
available for lease and they had three months to leave.</div>

found ourselves in a quandary,” say Charles Reynolds, board

we also knew that the cost of finding a new place was going to be a
challenge.”</div>

half years of helping so many in a community, she said she had to

the shop opened its doors in December of 2011,” Reynolds says on

people. From its humble beginnings of helping the local food pantry
to its partnerships with other area nonprofits, government agencies,
churches and community based groups, the Mission will continue to
grow and continue to help our friends and neighbors in need. Due to
the success of the thrift shop, Calling All Angels has helped
hundreds of families and individuals during their times of need, and
has helped raise awareness of the plights of hunger and homelessness
in our area. The board of directors want to thank the community for
its continued support of their Mission, all the donors and patrons of
the shop, and the volunteers and staff, without all of whom the
nonprofit could not continue to help those in our community in need.

for the shop's Grand Re-Opening.</div>

Using the 25th Amendment, as many are talking about today to take the Presidency away from Donald Trump, is a nightmare. (Read more about it <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/25th-amendment-used-remove-trump-215814401.html" target="_blank">here</a>.)<br />
<br />
Hate Trump, love Trump, it doesn't matter. There are ways to legally remove a President. Investigations that reveal he did something wrong, illegal, treasonous and leading to impeachment is the only SANE way to do it.<br />
<br />
If those in power decide to use the 25th Amendment it would not only be DANGEROUS for America today, it would set a PRECEDENT for future elections that could eventually erode the people's right to choose their leadership.<br />
<br />
THE DANGEROUS PART<br />
<br />
America's leadership in upheaval would be a sign for everyone from Russia and North Korea to ISIS and corporate entities worldwide to dig in their claws and complete their desires to bring America down. Many of these countries, groups and organizations have been working in various subtle ways to destabilize, destroy and/or take control of America. If the 25th Amendment were to be used, subtlety would go out the window.<br />
<br />
It would be a sign to the financial world that America is a "bad investment" and our economy would deteriorate below the point of sustainability. Its is bad now, despite what our government would like us to believe. But with that government in turmoil, the truth will be public knowledge and it would spiral, with international financial groups taking their piece of the pie while it is in freefall. And the people will be the ones to suffer. All the thin veiled realities of the low paying, no benefit, part time work that replaced good stable paying jobs with benefits would crumble and people would lose hope. This later torn psyche of the American people would be difficult to rebound from.<br />
<br />
<br />
THE FUTURE OF OUR DEMOCRACY PART<br />
<br />
The use of the 25th Amendment would now have a precedence that would be a cliff we could not un-fall off of. Any popular candidate would have to worry about the entrenched powers in DC deciding he was unfit for the office and removing him for any number of reasons, so long as they all decide to do it. That is 536 voices overriding hundreds of millions who participate in the election process.<br />
<br />
There are those who say that the people don't really get to choose. But if the Trump election shows nothing else, it shows the fallacy of THAT argument. Whether you were the half of the country who voted for Trump and declared victory in ever increasing hate rhetoric or the half that voted against him that cried in their collective beers afterward and searched out their "safe spaces", the truth is that the election process was not governed by the powers that be. If it were, then we would be looking at a different Presidency right now.<br />
<br />
If the people lose the perception that THEY are the ones who choose their leaders, voter turnout will be even more abysmal that it currently is. Apathy on a grand scale would set in American leadership will finally, once and for all, truly be decided by those in power, those with money, those with an agenda that does not match the best interests of the country at large.<br />
<br />
<br />
THE BOTTOM LINE<br />
<br />
The use of the 25th Amendment in this fashion will be the final nail in the coffin for the 241 year experiment in freedom and democracy would come to a dismal end.<br />
<br />
But hey, thats just my thoughts on the matter. Don't listen to me. Use the gray matter between your ears and look at ALL the facts, not just the ones that people want to tell you, and decide for yourself. Think for yourself. Don't be sheep.<br />

Why?? Because their guy is facing an embarrassment and their leadership is facing calls for them to step down.<br />

But again, why??
Its all a political charade. Its all about THEM and its supposed to be all about US!
So here is a quick editorial opinion on it.<br />
<br />
OPINION - DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T READ IT - Contact your representation in DC! Dem or GOP, doesn't matter, call them, email them, twitter them, Facebook them . . . hell, go stand at the door to their offices! Let them know that the repeal crap they are trying is NO GOOD! The legislation they keep trying to write to "replace and repeal" is NOT THE WAY TO GO! Tell them to work on individual legislation to FIX the problems with Obamacare! The House started doing this with H.R. 372 and 1101! Tell them that THAT is the way to go! Make them understand this is not a thing that is a prize to be won between the political parties, this is something that affects the lives of Americans and it is OUR wishes, not theirs, that need to be listened to!<br />
<br />
If you want them to keep doing this instead of their job, if you think that one party MUST prevail over the other no matter what it does to the American people, then go ahead and encourage this bad, immoral activity in Washington DC.<br />
<br />
But if you, like me, want it to STOP, then do something about it. Don't wait for someone else to do it for you. Thai is the government of the people, for the people, by the people.<br />

Words. I seek them out like a deer seeking nourishment through the cold winter. Every step leading me through the vast white wilderness, not knowing where or if I will find the victuals that will carry me onward. As they escape me, I struggle on, hopeful and desperate. Weak and soul weary, I can not go back, yet I fear I can not go forward. Fear and panic lead me to despair. Hope and the promise of life lead me down the next path. Blindly I search.

The page before me is as blank as the deepest snow, no familiar landmark nor trail to guide me. Yet it is in this vast empty wild I find the solace for which my soul yearns. Even in its vacant form, it yields the promise of things to come. For without the unfilled page, there is no canvas which to lay bare my soul, no field for the seeds within my mind to bear flower.

Then, as I despair most, they come unbidden and whole from within me.

Words, the paint that colors man's tapestry from centuries past. The whole of humanity's experience that give meaning to life and love and desire and pain flow from me.

Then comes the fear. Fear of acceptance, of rejection. Who will read, why will they read . . .will they want to read. Yet does it matter? Though it shouldn't, it does. Fear. It is the killer of dreams, the torturer of dreamers.

Am I a dreamer; are my thoughts the dreams? What vanity makes me believe my words matter; that I matter? Do I? Do they?
</p>
<p>
Doubt creeps into the darkest corners of my soul. The corners from whence no good comes, where even I fear to peer. It spreads, like a vile disease, devouring hope and dreams.
</p>
<p>
The words falter, my chi suffers a grievous blow. I am undone.
</p>
<p>
But am I? A new thought springs anew within.
</p>
<p>
No, I do not matter; my words and dreams and hopes and desires do not matter.
</p>
<p>
For they are me whether the world exists or not. My essence flares again as I regain this simple truth. Though I do not matter, nor do my words matter, they are mine nonetheless. And I have no choice but to do what I must to survive. The words must continue to soar forth from me. If they do not, I die. For it is who I am. I can be nothing less than who and what I am.

I am a writer. I have always been a writer. I must always be a writer. For a writer writes because he must, and for no other reason.
</p>
<p>
And so the words continue, free from the doubt, free from the vanity, pure and complete.

individual for a cabinet position (or Supreme Court . . . or anything
really), doesn't mean Congress HAS to confirm them. I mean, if I were

recommendations to fill them. Doesn't mean I KNOW the right person
for the job.</div>

comes in. That's where you look at the person and say yes or no.

bit about her qualifications . . . or lack thereof.</div>

Republican Committee. Not a qualification for Secretary of
Education.</div>

She is married to the Heir of

She was the chair of American
Federation for Children. Not a qualification and actually seems like
conflict of interest type of thing.</div>

She is head of many philanthropic
groups. Not a qualification. Means she's rich, not qualified.</div>
</li>
<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
She has a Bachelor's degree in
business administration and political science. A qualification, but
not what one would say is a good one.</div>

There are those that may point out the
precedent set by previous Presidents where the Secretary of Education
did not have a degree in Education. True.</div>

She was George W Bush's Secretary of
Education did not have one in Education. But that really didn't work
out too well, if you recall. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Spellings" target="_blank">Margaret Spellings</a>, one day after being
confirmed, threatened PBS demanding they nit air an episode where an
animated bunny learns about maple syrup from kids with lesbian
parents (despite the fact that the episode only has the kids saying
they have a mom and a stepmom, which can easily be assumed to mean
dad got remarried . . . . but Spellings' mind went to the lesbian
route and was offended by it). She advocated “No Child Left
Behind”, and insulted Connecticut when it resisted by calling the
state (not a person but the whole state) bigots. As for the student
loan controversy, this followed her to University of North Carolina,
where the decision to bring her in as President led to the
resignation of the university's board chair.</div>

Spellings Presidency at the University was marred by her lack of
discretion, insulting the LGBT community. (Seems she really still has
a problem with lesbians, like she did back in 2005.</div>

So do we want someone like Spellings?
Is it a good precedent to follow, having someone in the position to
oversee the nation's education system, policies and all, without a
degree in education? And honestly, coming from someone who is highly
educated but holds no actual degrees, do you really want someone as
Education Secretary to only hold a Bachelor's degree . . . and in
political science?</div>

As much as I thought, way back 2011,
that Tim Scott was an intelligent individual who wants only what is
best for his constituents, I must now say things have changed. Scott
has become a party tool. Instead of dispensing his duties for the
benefit of South Carolinians, he seems to only hold what the party
wants him to hold as important. His response is a political one. Not
a response one gives to his constituents. (And its a form response,
as others have gotten the same . . . exact . . . letter. Just the
name is different.)</div>

As for the letter? It begins, very
condescendingly, as though speaking to a child, when – in fact –
he (or his staff) knew they were speaking to an educator with nearly
two decades teaching. Very insulting. Then it goes on to sound like a
press release praising DeVos . . . . not a good sign when this person
is supposed to still be weighing the facts in a confirmation hearing.</div>

There is the line about DeVos
supporting public education. In actuality, her <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betsy_DeVos#Non-profit_work" target="_blank">work </a>has been more for
the benefit of private institutions then for helping the public
education system.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
And then there is (especially in
reference to the comment above about the DeVos support for the Scott
campaign) the political donations. The DeVos family has been donating
HUGE sums of money to Republican Party SuperPacs and individual
campaigns (such as Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina)
for decades. And do they do this out of the goodness of their hearts
or because they believe in the party or the candidates (remember, she
once called Trump an “interloper” and representative of the
Republican Party)? In truth, in a 1997 Op-Ed in Roll Call, a Capitol
Hill newspaper, DeVos wrote "[M]y family is the largest single
contributor of soft money to the national Republican party….I have
decided, however, to stop taking offense at the suggestion that we
are buying influence. Now, I simply concede the point. We expect to
foster a conservative governing philosophy consisting of limited
government and respect for traditional American virtues. We expect a
return on our investment; we expect a good and honest government.
Furthermore, we expect the Republican party to use the money to
promote these policies, and yes, to win elections."</div>

This is a telling passage in this OpEd
by DeVos. But the whole editorial is even more telling. She states
that “[i]n politics, money is speech. You don't have free speech
without it.” She seems to feel that those with money “know more”
than the politicians, therefore, their money is important to a role
in free speech of all Americans. She likens campaign finance reform
to an assault on free speech, saying without the big money she and
groups like labor unions spend during a given election year allows
voters to be more informed when they vote. Yet in the same article
she states how the labor advertising done by labor unions were
“misleading, and in some cases, dishonest.”</div>

DeVos finishes off this article with a
dire extrapolation of the McCain-Feingold finance reform bill.</div>

“For those who support attacks on
free speech, such as those in the many versions fo the
McCain-Feingold bill, perhaps they should be thinking through to its
long conclusion. They must be willing to place limits on the number
of news stories the media can run, the number of editorials they can
print, the number of newspapers they can sell, and the number of news
shows they can air. If we are going to restrict free speech, we need
to do it for everybody.”</div>

The ideals she expresses throughout
this editorial equating money with free speech, the way she places on
the same level news stories and paid for political advertisements, is
so far afield of free anything, let alone free speech, that one has
to wonder how her priorities in life got so skewed.</div>

Is this a person we want shaping the
educational system in this country?</div>

For my money, which is nowhere near as
much as the DeVos family fortune, I can't see how anyone, even
someone who benefited from this huge resource of cash, can think she
is right for this or any other political position.</div>

Senators like Tim Scott should be
appalled at the level of sanctimony and privilege DeVos displays in
this article.</div>

(Unfortunately, if you read Scott's letter, it sounds his mind has been made up, despite the opposition by his constituents. One has to wonder, if not for those he represents, then for whom does he act as cheerleader for DeVos.)</div>

Just this afternoon, an intelligent
woman who was in the Trump corner but was willing to entertain the
idea of Gov. Gary Johnson in the debates, if not in voting for him.
She was willing to listen. Now, after last night's first Presidential
debate (in which Johnson was excluded), she is adamantly for Trump.
She declared that no one should vote for Johnson because it would
sway the electoral to Clinton.</div>

This did not sit right with me, so I
went back to my Government 101 recollections. And figured out that

believe their lies, they don't have to face the truth.</div>

They vote for the candidate who won the popular vote, or the

And in 29 states plus the District of
Columbia, this is true. They have laws governing this process. In 21
states, they do not. These states can vote for whoever they want, no

Or you can go to the page and right there on the front page is a row of pictures with all the presidential and vice presidential candidates. (Except for Ajamu Baraka, Jill Stein's running mate on the Green Party ticket. Him you have to plug into the search engine. I don't know why.)<br />

Clinton and Kaine are proving that they are going forward with a politics as usual, the "I-was-mad-but-now-I-am-not" mantra of a typical politician in regards to Shultz.</span></div>

today? What is up with judges?? I have always had a problem with the
screwed up legal system in this country. And with the recent
political cases that have been dropped or passed along to the next
dupe, I have been truly shaking my head.</div>

In one, a college student is raped and
the boy, Austin Wilkerson, goes to trial (can't say man because he is NOT), and the case
is not only made, his duplicity before, during and after the assault
are enough to get him a guilty verdict. But then the judge gives him
two years work release and 20 years probation. WHAT?!?!?</div>

Even the District Attorney is as
disgusted by this as I am.</div>

young ex-Marine who was assaulted by a gang of black youths (he
figures five between the ages of 16 – 21, including one female)
outside of a McDonald's. They had been harassing him inside,
cornering him and shouting the question did he think black lives
matter. He was knocked unconscious and robbed of money, credit cards,
VA id and driver's license.</div>

For the uninitiated into the English
language, let me translate. “Here is the obvious truth.” Its
obvious, or self evident, to anyone who cares to simply open their
eyes and see. Here are some truths and they are obvious. Pretty
simple. But some people numbly look at you with a blank stare and go
“huh?” and then ignore the document.</div>

Okay, so we move on. <i>“ . . . that
all men are created equal . . .”</i>. WOW! That line just blows
away all of these separatist movements. All. Men. Are. Created.
EQUAL! By men, the founders meant men as in mankind, as in humanity,
as in EVERYBODY. So, everybody. Created equal. Boom! Black lives
matter movement shut down. Because ALL lives matter. Says so in the
founding document of this country. Rich lives, poor lives, homeless
lives, working lives, black lives, white lives, ALL lives! End of
discussion on that.</div>

Now here comes the boom that makes the
actions of thugs like the ones who attacked that Marine and like the
ones in elected office un-American. <i>“. . . that they are endowed
by their Creator with certain unalienable rights”.</i></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
You may ask what the heck “unalienable”
means, and what are unalienable rights? Well you would be in good
company because this has been discussed over and over by many people
in the past. But here is the 411. Unalienable rights are rights that
cannot be taken away. That's it. They are rights that you are born
with. Like the right to breathe. No one can take that away. They can
take away your ability to breathe. But your RIGHT to breath? No, they
can't take that away.</div>

So what are these rights? <i>“Life,
Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”</i></div>

Now these are not the only ones. As I
said before, you also have the right to breath. But the founders
thought that would be kind of obvious to anybody, so they prefaced
these rights by stating <i>“that among these are”</i>. So there
are others but they wanted to include these three specifically.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Everyone has a right to life, to be
alive. Therefore taking a life is not to be done for the hell of it.
Any life. (And yes, I know, the taking of lives in war, any war is
necessary to preserve life. A contradiction to be sure, but as I
said, not simply done for the hell of it. Self defense, protection of
others. Usually undertaken by those willing to sacrifice their own
lives to defend the freedoms of these rights I am discussing.)

Liberty. Freedom. Everyone has a right
to be free. You can be enslaved, in so many ways, but you choose to
fight for this because everyone has a right to freedom. We fought a
war to be free. People have staged protests to be free. Because it is
a right everyone is born with.

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
And finally, everyone has the right to
pursue a happy life. To be happy. To pursue it. A right. Born with
it. Not to be taken away. Ever. By anyone.</div>

So how do we secure these rights so
that no one takes them away? The Declaration answers this. <i>“That
to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”</i>
Which means it is up to the government to preserve these rights.
Governments that derive their power from the governed. That's us. The
governed. The people. The voters who put the government in place.</div>

But here is the rub. We the people have
to ensure the government abides by the tenets of our country. And
what to do if they don't? Well, we have elections to make sure that
the ones who fail are replaced. But what if it gets so bad that we
find ourselves falling apart at the seams, as we are now? There is an
answer for that, too.</div>

“<i>That whenever any Form of
Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the
People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in
such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety
and Happiness.”</i></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Kind of extreme. So if we want to avoid
the latter, the abolishment of it, then we need to get active and
work on altering it. By voting in people who do not derive their
popularity or power from dividing us.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
United, we stand. Divided, we fall. In
modern times, one of our Founding Father, John Dickinson, used these
words in a pre-Revolutionary War song called "The Liberty Song".
In July of 1768 Dickinson wrote: "Then join hand in hand, brave
Americans all! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!"</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
These Black Lives Matter movements do
just this. They divide us. As do all of these “fill in the blank”
Lives Matter groups, and as do all those who seek to usurp power by
dividing us. And politicians who only wish to garner the largest
amounts of votes. And they not only do a disservice to us as a
country, but they tear apart the very tenets this country was founded
on. That every one of us are created equal.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
To that point, there is not one single
candidate for public office in a very long time that is not guilty of
dividing us. And we let them. We fall prey and victim to their
manipulations.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I say it is time to stop listening to
them and start listening to the concepts that formed this country
that is the envy of the rest of the world.</div>

Only by standing united, as one
citizenry, as Americans all, will we fight off those that would
divide and conquer us. Whether they be outside sources such as ISIS
or Communists or Socialists or money grubbing, power hungry
corporations, we must battle them all by ignoring their attempts and
uniting.</div>

Another document that looked to create
a better country, a better world for all that followed them – for
posterity – is the Declaration of Independence.

States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice,

It is time. To stop being sheep and to
stop believing in “the spin” of all these divisive people and
groups. We are ALL Americans. Not black Americans nor white Americans
nor rich Americans nor poor Americans nor any other kind of such and
such Americans. We are Americans and we need to stand united in the
knowledge that ALL are created equal. All lives matter. Our Founding
Fathers tried to make sure we understood this.</div>

Normally I say agree with me or
disagree with me, it doesn't matter. But I can't say that this time.
Read it for yourself, don't just take my word on it. But if you
disagree, if you think that all lives don't matter, that we are not
all Americans, that we do not all have rights that cannot be taken
away, that we don't need to stand united, then we will not all fall
divided – then there is not much I can do for you. So just think
for yourselves. Read what this country is all about. If you don't
like that we are all one citizenry, then maybe you should think about
finding a country that lets you feel divided and promotes

It is the endgame of a process that has been going on for a half-century: America’s divestment of its historic national identity."</span></div>

Do people ACTUALLY want to elect The Donald as President of the United States of America? Mostly not. But what other choice do they have to vent their anger and frustration at a government intent on lying to (poorly) and dividing (convincingly) the entirety of the American people? What other choice do they have when there are so many incompetent people in power who really don't get the economy like a businessman of The Donald's obvious skills in that area? What choice do they have when the other choices are people who are cowards in the face of international mayhem?</span></div>

The person with the second most votes becomes vice president. Its the only fair way in today's environment of political shenanigans and payoffs via party PACs and donations.</span></div>

But thats what is great about our country. We can each have our own opinion and try to convince others of our ideas being the . . . .okay, I was going to say the right ideas. But in truth, as in governmental structure, there is no "right" and "wrong" idea. Its the BEST idea among all the competing ideas out there. Whats best for US. And I do mean US as in the capitalization "us".</span></div>

But even if it doesn't, and even if Americans stay angry, if something isn't done to make corrections NOW, it will just keep getting worse. And THAT is the appeal of Trump and Trumpism. So Murray might finally have it right. Not sure because I will not be paying for a subscription of the Wall Street Journal to rad the conclusion of this article of his. I just can't afford it.</span></div>

- There are some things to remember amidst all the new presidential
campaign rhetoric being posted on social media sites, and throughout
both mainstream and alternative media. Not everyone is honest. And
social media is filled with accusations, claims and
misrepresentations that people keep 'sharing' and touting as fact.</span></span></div>

for instance Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT). He has been railing
against the Republican party blaming them for everything wrong in
America. An old video of him slamming Alan Greenspan has surfaced and
is labeled as him vehemently attacking the Republican party for the
destruction of our economy.</span></span></div>

1977, then President Jimmy Carter created the CRA (Community
Reinvestment Act). This was to get banks / lending institutions to be
more helpful to members of the communities in which they operate.
However, this particular approach was made null and void with all the
massive banking convergences. There are no longer local community
banking / lending institutions. They are all national (and in some
cases, international) conglomerates who don't really “operate”
locally in the sense they did when the CRA was enacted.</span></span></div>

in 1995 then president Bill Clinton lowered the standards about who
could get low cost, no-cost housing loans, which – by all accounts
– directly led to too many unqualified people getting loans they
were never going to be able to pay back.</span></span></div>

blame game began in earnest which led to the current economic crisis

April of 2001, the Bush Administration first red flagged Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac stating that "financial trouble of a large GSE
could cause strong repercussions in financial markets, affecting
Federally insured entities and economic activity."</span></span></div>

on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable
housing . . . I think it is clear that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are

Frank railed against the Bush administration's attempts to regulate
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as a racist move. Maxine Waters declared
vehemently that they were trying to fix something that “wasn't
broken”. Gregory Meeks stated in a hearing (where he felt he had
more important places to be other than there) that there was nothing
wrong with “you know, Fannie Mae” and even attacked the
competency of the oversight agency. Lacy Clay claimed the whole thing
was actually about the “political lynching of Franklin Raines”
(who was black, thus invoking old time racism prior to the Civil
Rights movement).</span></span></div>

<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;">Democrat
after Democrat came to the defense of a broken system that led
directly to the financial crisis we have been facing for far too many
years. And now Bernie Sanders, Democrats and the media rant against
Republicans laying the blame at their feet. When in fact it is the
fault of both parties. Democrats for their failed judgment time and
time again in the name of social programs, Republicans for a lack of
bravery (or cajones) to stop them. BUT MOST OF ALL, it is the fault
of the American people as well for being asleep at the wheel and
letting these self absorbed and self serving people do ALL of these
things.</span></span></div>

is yet another reason NOT to elect anyone from the established
political parties. They are all complicit in the decline of America.
And any rant to the contrary is simply political showmanship and

<span style="background-color: #fff2cc;">Here we are in 2008, in the midst of a Presidential campaign, finding ourselves in a brouhaha concerning whether or not Hillary Clinton is an honest person. There are polls galore asking if they find the candidates honest. In one such poll during the North Carolina / Indiana Democratic Primaries, 54% of people questioned Hillary's honesty. All because of a comment she made about a sniper incident in Bosnia in 1996. It was explained by her campaign and supporters as her simply "misremembering" the event. And if this wasn't enough, she reported on a young woman who died because she didn't have health insurance; which was later discovered to be erroneous. But she explained this away as well by saying someone had told her the story wrong. </span></blockquote>

<span style="background-color: #fff2cc;">Now, for our part as Americans with selective memory. This isn't the first time this woman has been caught in a lie or exaggeration or a "misremembering." She has been doing it for well over a decade. </span></blockquote>

Hillary played a central role in the firings and then made false statements about her involvement. Documents that were willed to the Library of Congress by Sam Dash (ethics counsel for Kenneth Starr), who passed away in 2004, show that Hillary had lied about her involvement as legal counsel for the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan Association; as well as the money she made doing so. Prosecutors also determined that she had lied, under oath, about her legal involvement in another real estate venture (Castle Grande). </span></blockquote>

The only thing that you can say for certainty is that this long time friend and aide to the Clintons is dead, and that his body was found in a park. There are lots of conspiracy theories involving his death, from his committing suicide in a place embarrassing to the Clinton's but moved to the park, to his having an affair with Hillary that resulted in his death. Throughout the investigation and public scrutiny of his case, it is excruciatingly obvious that Hillary (and Bill) held information back and were less than truthful. </span></blockquote>

<span style="background-color: #fff2cc;"><br />It just seems to me that after over a decade of her honesty being called into question, even if you think she has been vilified by those who just don't like her and Bill, you have to think of the saying "where there's smoke, there's fire." </span></blockquote>

So there you go. Thats Hillary Clinton in a nutshell. Still want to vote for her? Then you will get what you deserve - a President who will not even flinch if it comes to lying to the American public.<br />

Don't you want someone who will do what is right for the American people, who will have our backs, who will tells us the truth even if it means admitting they are human and make mistakes?<br />

I know this will cause some commotion. But I am so sick of the "political correctness" of remaining silent. I feel no pity for the people of muslim countries. I do feel sorrow for them, but not pity. They follow a religion that for centuries has been about the total domination of the world under an Islam banner. They believe there is no room for any other religion. And any muslim that says they want a peaceful coexistence with others is either lying to you or themselves. Their religion says its okay to lie to anyone not a muslim. So when someone cries about why there is no coverage of how we bomb them or shoot them or whatever, I just get so boiling mad. We would leave them be if they would stop doing things like Paris. Like 9/11, like London, like Moscow. We would leave them alone if they would stop trying to usurp our countries, our religions, our laws, our customs and our traditions. But they will NEVER stop. People really need to understand this. I do not want harm to come to anyone. But I will also not sit by while they decide to cause me, mine or other innocent people harm. Enough is enough.<br />

So I don't want to hear that they don't know any better because its what they were taught. Its like all those morons who were taught differently but decide to join these cowards and murderers. They WANT to do what is wrong!<br />

I am a son. I have never been a mother
– although there are many dads out there who have had to be both
mother and father. And though I have been a father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin, I have not always been the best at these.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
But I had a mother. She is no longer
with me, but her lessons are. And hopefully she is looking down on me
smiling that I have remembered them.</div>

Here are some things I would like to
pass along to mothers everywhere.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Be patient. Your children will make
mistakes, both as children and adults. You have taught them not only
all the good lessons in life, but also to be their own people. And
people are fallible. Keep in your heart that they had learned these
lessons, and will continue to learn lessons well after you are gone.
They will, sometimes after many trials, make the right choices.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Be kind. You are their mother. They
look up to you as the font of knowledge and wisdom – even if they
don't always think they do. A harsh word or disapproving glance or
indifference to their struggles from you is more painful than a
physical wound. The kindness you show will follow them throughout
their lives and it will be visited upon people you have never met,
but will be grateful for your example.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Be loving. This empathic link you have
with your children is not only a source of comfort to them, but it is
how they will learn to be loving and empathic of others. Your heart
is their heart. What you give and show and teach will then be given
and shown and taught by them to the world.</div>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Be respectful. You have been teaching
them from before they were breathing air on this earth. They will
make good choices, bad choices and many choices in between. Its okay
This is what you wanted for them . . . to send them out into the
world and make it better. So respect their choices, even if you don't
agree with them. They often come to these decisions after much
deliberation.</div>

And finally, be secure in the knowledge
that even if they don't say it – or even if they say to the
contrary – your children do love you. You are their mother.</div>

Mother is not a job, its not a career,
and at times it is not even a choice. But it is work nonetheless. And
the lives you have brought into the world, or have raised into the
world, are precious. And even though many think it is the case, being
a mother doesn't end when they go off on their own to fill the world.
There will always be worry and always be care and always be love.</div>

One last word to the children of these
mothers. All these things said of mothers, I now repeat to you. Be
patient, be kind, be loving, be respectful and be secure. Mothers
have worked hard to give you the world. What you give back can be
