Binders full of women? Seriously?

"Binders full of women"?? Seriously, this is what you people have to talk about?

Good God in heaven . . . don't you trolls have anything better to do than find NON-ISSUES to make a big deal out of? Is this a liberal or Democratic flim flam? Because I cannot imagine people of good intellect taking that statement and running amok with it . . .

Okay, so I am re-thinking this. Most people are willing to be told what to think. So I should not be surprised when someone is making a positive statement about how there are LOTS of women qualified to fill positions out there. And that this person went out of their way top break the stereotypical response of just hiring qualified men. AND THEN people go completely ape**** over the comment.

And THIS is the important thing you take from a debate over important issues.

You people are 100% daft!

To quote a fictional President, "We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious people to solve them."

We need serious people to solve our problems. I just don't think there is anyone in politics that takes anything serious unless it has to do with their pay, what favors they can get for their cooperation and keeping their political office until they have milked it for all they can.

Another couple of quotes from that same movie has a lot to say about the people who are voting these morons into office.

"Lewis Rothschild: People want leadership, Mr. President, and in the absence of genuine leadership, they'll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They want leadership. They're so thirsty for it they'll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there's no water, they'll drink the sand.

President Andrew Shepherd: Lewis, we've had presidents who were beloved, who couldn't find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flashlight. People don't drink the sand because they're thirsty. They drink the sand because they don't know the difference."

Yeah, that pretty much sums up the voting public. The American people are inundated and flim-flammed by so much spin, they just don't know the difference between charismatic and true leadership.

And they don't realize they will be paying the price for their stupidity.

To that thought, if the point of the President's debate strategy was to point out that Mitt Romney is a "rich guy who doesn't care about the middle class", this dumbo-eared nit wit needs to look in the mirror. He has (not single-handedly because there are hundreds in DC who are the same) destroyed the middle class in this country. And, um, he might want to peer at his checking account because he is a pretty "rich guy" himself.

Agree, disagree, it really doesn't matter. If I can get you to turn your on brain back on and stop listening to the guys who get paid the big bucks to tell you what to think, then there may be hope. EIther way, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

But remember, there is less than a month until election day. Something needs to give.

Have a great day.

Money more important than deeds?!

Okay, I am calling out the President, Romney, the GOP, the Democrats, and all the money people out there who are so keen and intent on "buying" the Presidency.

You have all got it so wrong! Its not the money, STUPIDS! Its the deeds!

Obama spent 18 minutes complaining to donors the other day that he will be the "first sitting President to be outspent on his re-election campaign" in modern history.

What!?!? WTF, even!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all really have your priorities screwed up. And the mainstream media is not helping by pushing these stories and not telling the people the records. Its not money, you frigging dunderheads! It is what you have done, what you have plans on doing and howw that sits with us, the Americans who would put you in office.

Negative campaigns, big dollar fundraisers, PACS, SuperPACS, "outside alllies"!

You JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!

But what the hell am I saying?! The dolts out there who listen to your BS and spread it around like fertilizer on the farms are just as bad. They actually listen to your whining and complaining and stupid arrogant platitudes.

I am so very fed up with the lot of you.

People are starving in America. That's right. Starving. If you put even a FRACTION of all that money you waste on these stupid things, America would be better off. Whole families rely on food pantries to feed their children. Food pantries! Its unthinkable that in today's America there would even be a need for a food pantry. And you whine about being outspent. Where the hell is your humanity? You patriotism? Your sense of service to the people. Outspent. Jeez! What a little baby you are. Not a man at all. And certainly not a true President of the United States.

People are being forced out of their homes at alarming rates. Foreclosures by banks YOU support and BEG for their campaign dollars. Oh wait, thats right. you expect the people who don't have homes to live in, money for gas and food to put on their table to give YOU money so YOU can keep being President. Or in Romney's case, want to be President. You guys aren't leaders in any sense of the word.

Americans are losing their jobs left and right. SPIN all the numbers you want. It ain't playing at this theater. Just go out onto the streets and ask a random person if they are jobless or know someone who is jobless. I will bet you a doughnut that you will get an affirmative answer every time. And that is not just sad, but it is pathetic. You think you are fit to lead this country? You don't even know what this country is going through. You don't know the struggles faced by AVERAGE Americans, the ones YOU want to donate to YOUR campaign.

In 2008, you all spent a total of over $50 BILLION dollars for the election. DO you know how much that $50 BILLION could have helped average Americans?? Of course not. Its not real money to you. Its not even YOUR MONEY!!!!!! You frighten it out of little old ladies. You cajole it out of people just trying to survive. You trick it out of people who might want just a small piece of history (dinner or lunch with a President or wannabe) so they can find some sense to go on in the misery YOU ALL have created.

Leaders? I think not! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Your priorities are ALL screwed up! Shame on you, Mr. President for your whining! Shame on you, Gov. Romney for your fear mongering! Shame on all the SPIN doctors and politicians and political parties and special interest groups and millionaire king maker wannabes! You have no clue what AMerica is, what America needs and who Americans are.

You only see dollar signs and power.

The lot of you should be thrown to the streets.

Agree or disagree, I don't care. If you can't see these people for what they are then shame on you, too. But what the hell, like you even listen to anyone else anyway. If they are not a celebrity or a big name politician or a person with huge chunks of money, you can't even believe they are someone worth listen to. But if you do listen, just for a brief second and see that they are all screwed up. Maybe you will be able to break out of the cocoon of SPIN and think for yourself. Thats all i can hope for. But hey, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

Have a great day.

Mook is a . . . well, mook

Robby Mook is the Executive Director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He is supposed to be an intelligent person. You really couldn't tell it, in my opinion. But this latest email he is sending out makes one just turn their head sideways and go “huhnnnnn??”

Just take a look at this and ask yourself the question, “what the hell is this guy talking about?”

“I had to send this around -- it’s new poll numbers for the generic Congressional ballot just released:

You can bet Boehner and Cantor are really panicking now.

Let's win the House for President Obama. Chip in $3 right now >>

Thanks!

Robby

Robby Mook
DCCC Executive Director”

Wording-wise, its standard Democratic fare. We're gonna win, but we (the really rich schmucks in politics) need your money to do it.

But the twist is the poll he is so proud of. What the heck is it saying? Democrats 47, Republicans 43? First, that doesn't equal 100. So it isn't talking about how many of one or the other is going to win the House. Its not 50, so it doesn't represent the Senate. Is it an approval rating? Not likely, as those for Congress are down in the teens and single digits.

So what the hell is he really saying here?

I have my own thoughts.

He's saying: “Hey all you sheep! Ignore what I'm saying because it doesn't really matter! What matters is that I get you all psyched up to send us money! Because despite what we say on the campaign trail, its all about the money we don't have to spend and can soak you for all you got! So, come on, give us money! Right now! And we'll win! YEA!”

Well that's how I read it anyway.

But the worse thing about this email. Not that its doesn't really say anything important. That is just typical politics. All they care about is the power their position gives them. Oh and maybe the pension for life that most of us would kill just to get for a few years.

No what is really bad about this email is that there are millions of sheep ready to send these people money every possible chance.

Why? Because they are scared that the other “evil” party will get in. No matter that the party in there now has done so much damage, the OTHER party is the evil one. Or its because they are lazy sacks of you know what that don't want to see an end to the gravy train of entitlements. Or its because they have no mind of their own and believe whatever it is they are told they are supposed to believe.

No matter what the reason, the sad part is that this email – and so many like it that seem to be pumped out daily – people will give them money. Forget the fact that $3 to Obama and Mook is a tip on a cup of coffee in the morning, while it represents the weekly disposable spending of grandma Kelly and Mr. Jones down at the recycling center. To them, $3 is the difference between going one day without breakfast or buying little Timmy a birthday present.

The gall of these guys, and every politician like them – which most of them are – is that they just don't get it. The President gets $430,000 a year, and then every year after he's out of office as a pension. Congress gets $172,000 a year and also that same amount as a pension after being voted out of office (or more likely retiring, because none of these slugs willingly leaves such a cushy job). If they really want these jobs then these punks, most of whom were or will be millionaires even without the money they get for being politicians, they should have to pay for themselves.

Imagine you're going for a job with ABC Company. But someone else is going for the same job. So you put up bulletin boards on the boss' way to the office. You take out newspaper ads in papers he or she reads. You do television spots. All to get the job. Now imagine you go out and ask people at the company to give you money to pay for these ads.

Ain't happening. So why should it be this way in our government?

Agree with me or not about all of this. I just want you to LOOK at it and decide for yourself, without the whispering of political consultants telling you what to think. If you come to a conclusion without these leeches influencing it, that's all that matters to me. But hey, you know, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

Have a great day.

Father's day and politics - should they be mixed?

You know, I am so sick and tired of all the politicians, and I mean ALL. Its not just Obama and the Democrats. If Republicans and others thought they could get mileage out of it, they would.

But you know what? I'm not "signing a card" for President Obama on Father's Day.

If I knew him, I might text or call or stop by and wish him a happy father's day. But I don't and I won't.

He ain't my dad. My dad passed away a few years ago. I called him, sent him a card, an email - visited when I could - but, I repeat, he was my dad.

I'll wish friends and relatives a happy father's day. And thats only if I know they're dads. Or if it won't hurt them to wish it. (Divorce, strained relationships and such can cause immense pain. I know.)

But I do not know the President well enough to wish him a Happy Father's Day. Thats up to Michelle and the girls. Thats up to his close friends and relatives. I do hope he has a nice one.

Where was Caroline Kennedy's call for you all to send MY dad a card? Hmmm? Where were all those pissant celebrities who have nothinh better to do then tell us what awe should be doing as far as politics are concerned? (Yea, like they really got it together and are people I would listen to.) Did they call for you to wish MY dad a happy father's day?

No.

SO as far as I am concerned, Caroline Kennedy, Michelle and all those ego-maniacal losers who don't know me from a hole in the ground can go pound sand. They can pander their brand of political BS somewhere else. And frankly, I don't know about you, but for me, this type of political use of something that is personal to each family is enough for me to say "I ain't voting for schmucks like this."

I know, you say I wouldn't be voting for him anyway. But truth be told, I am a conservative - thats with a small "c" and there is a HUGE difference - and I vote for who is best for the country. Who will run it best, be cognizant of their position as being servant to the people, can be fiscally responsible and not be a tool for ANYONE (big business, small business, political party, deep pockets, unions, special interest, foreign powers or religious doctrines). I voted for Bill Clinton because I liked his no-nonsense approach to "if it don't work, try something else" approach. But then HE became a tool to the Party. Then he showed his ignorance to simple semantics. I DID NOT vote for him a second term.

I vote for who I feel is best, not on party affiliation or rhetoric - but on action and proven history.

If Barack Obama had been a different man, then maybe. But as it stands, you're right. I'm not voting for him. But IF I HAD BEEN thinking about it, this kind of political antics would sour me.

But no matter. Agree or disagree, that is your prerogative. I only want you to think for yourself, STOP BEING SHEEP and AVOID THE SPIN of politicians and political consultants. CMOe up with your own opinions and not be a parrot for some spin doctor or biased talking head (or lame brained celebrity who can't even keep their marriages for more than six weeks or themselves out of rehab). Thinking for yourselves, use that grey matter in between your ears for heaven's sake.

But hey, its no skin off my nose. This is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

Have a great day.

"Thinking Out Loud - The Book" Price Reduction

Why lower the price of the book? Because I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to read it and AVOID THE SPIN that is coming from Obama and the Democrats.

Not to toot my own horn but this book is filled with information and links to what has gone before. Whenever they try to lie about what went on during the 2008 campaign and what the President did his first year in office, you can dispute it. Or at least know the lies from the truth. And that is all I want for you. I want you to know the truth from the SPIN.

And SPIN they will! They've been doing it for four years now. And the main stream media has just gone along with it. There are no journalist out there anymore. Just cheerleaders for whoever gives them the access they want. Remember Florida, when the reporter asked Biden some tough questions and he slammed her? Remember how the campaign then boycotted the station? What was that crap?! That is what journalism has become today. And even the other side has had to bend so far in the other direction just to balance the ledgers. And that is just as bad.

So, I lowered the price and hope you all get to read it and search all the links in it to learn the truth from the lies that are coming. Get mt e-book, Thinking Out Loud - The Book today.

(BTW - Can you believe that Obama called the GOP budget "radical"? I mean, this is the pusher of OBAMACARE calling something radical. Give me strength.)

Have a great day.

Unemployment dropping? REALLY?!

So, Obama and all the media pukes are rallying behind the numbers saying that the unemployment rate is dropping.

This gets me so mad. They way they play with numbers and lie right to our faces. I just want to scream! Because the average American will just go, "oh great, so what are the Republicans and Obama detractors yelling about?"

We are yelling because they are lying to your face and you are believing them.

God, stop being so stupid!

Here's a bit from Erik Erickson of Red State.

"The household survey says unemployment has fallen. Jobs are being created. A few days after American Airlines announced it would lay off 15,000 employees and other companies are laying off as well, the unemployment rate fell with new hires.

It is good news for Barack Obama, except not really.

The unemployment rate fell, but so did the number of people participating in the workforce. If those people were factored in, the unemployment rate would be 11 percent. In fact, people 55 years and older and people just entering the workforce are having a ridiculously hard time finding jobs.

We know this is so by the number of foreclosures in the country — which are still high. The household survey data suggests good news for Barack Obama's re-election prospects, but reality suggests otherwise. 70 percent of Americans, according to Rasmussen, know someone struggling to find a job. And these people will take it out on the incumbent. But there is a danger for the GOP. If the unemployment number keeps falling, they'll need a bigger platform than just claiming they can put people back to work. They will have to work hard to cut through the media noise cheerleading unemployment numbers that ignore those who've just given up on Obama's hope.

—Erick Erickson
"

Its the same thing I have been trying to tell you all for years. Unemployment rate so not mean what you think they mean. Instead of believing the government SPIN doctors, the politicians and the foolish media jerks like Keith Oberman. Talk to your family, friends and neighbors.

I bet you know at least one, if not MANY more who are out of work, unable to pay bills, being foreclosed on, can't find a job, can't get health coverage - can't even scrap up enough food for a decent meal each night.

Obama is lying. The media is lying (I say this because they can't be as stupid about this stuff as they let on). The SPIN doctors get PAID to lie to you.

Look out at the real world. Look at how it really is, instead of the LaLa Land THEY would describe for you.

We need to get all these liars out of office. We need to shut down all these media outlets who lie for a living instead of doing their jobs.

Agree with me or not. I honestly don't care. But at least STOP BEING SHEEP and look around you. THINK FOR YOURSELF! Don't even believe me, because I am human and have my own perspective on life (didn't have work for so long I went to work for myself). You make up your own mind. After all, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

Have a great day. And support your local food pantry (money, food, time, whatever).

State of the Union thoughts Part 1 (Energy)

The President made his State of the Union speech, his last while in THIS term. Hopefully it will be the last one he ever makes. But that is looking slimmer and slimmer as the days go on.

But anyway, he really doled things out and what BS it was! I am going to illuminate on a few things over the next couple of blogs. So I can truly explore them. (And maybe keep you reading. wE'll see.)

On comment he made bears looking into.

"Nowhere is the promise of innovation greater than in American-made energy. Over the last three years, we've opened millions of new acres for oil and gas exploration, and tonight, I'm directing my administration to open more than 75% of our potential offshore oil and gas resources. Right now, American oil production is the highest that it's been in eight years. That's right — eight years. Not only that — last year, we relied less on foreign oil than in any of the past sixteen years."

First part. ""Nowhere is the promise of innovation greater than in American-made energy."

Obama, despite the failures of his "green energy" initiatives which put money into the pockets of numerous energy companies that have gone out of business - and took our hard earned money through the Stimulus - and kept it out of the "all of the above" option GOP members had pushed for since before the 2008 election. He has blocked (or let his Democratic cronies block) all attempts to push forward with oil production, nuclear technologies and shale drilling. He and his regulating bozos have put every obstacle and new regulation in the way of advancing his claim to want independence from foreign oil. Then he goes and backs Sen. Harry Reid's stoppage of Yucca Mountain. Without and appropriate place to send spent fuel from nuclear plants, new nuke construction slows to a crawl. And the states had already PAID for Yucca Mountain. But do you think the President cares about that? Not. Just like he doesn't care about energy independence from foreign oil.

If he did, then he had to PUSH for this "all of the above" notion three years ago. It will take at least 10 to 15 years for the independence to start showing. But with his delays, capitulations to special interests, misplaced spending on crony companies that go bankrupt promoting his "clean energy" crap, his hell bent decisions to impact the coal industry, all prove that he isn't serious. So his words really ring hollow.

"Over the last three years, we've opened millions of new acres for oil and gas exploration . . ." In 2009, Obama delayed an expansion of the Bush oil exploration plan. In 2010, he slammed oil execs and slowed oil exploration and production, calling for even tighter regulations. Obama has consistently said one thing and then worked in the opposite direction.

This does not show his honesty in this area. It is almost like the 'President has two faces' scenario. He speaks with 'forked tongue.' It is hard to believe a man who wold go on an apology tour of those same oil producing countries, say he wants to be independent from the, makes regulations tighter, holds off on approving exploration, gives companies a year extension on their land leases and then makes it impossible to actually do any explorations.

Agree or disagree, I don't care. But stop being SHEEP and believing everything that comes out of the mouths of politicians or pundits. They all have agendas and not one of them is to see that you are properly informed. They will SPIN the truth and mix in the fantasy in order to get you over to their point of view. They will lie to you and rub your shoulders at the same time. All I ask is that you think for yourself. Look at ALL the information as it happened and stop believing their SPIN on history. They all do it. THEN make up your mind. If you do that, that I would consider my job done. Either way you decide to think is okay so long as it is YOUR thoughts and not those PUT there. But hey, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.

Have a great SPIN-free day.
