Stop catering to cowards and murderers who want nothing more than your annihilation!
I know this will cause some commotion. But I am so sick of the "political correctness" of remaining silent. I feel no pity for the people of muslim countries. I do feel sorrow for them, but not pity. They follow a religion that for centuries has been about the total domination of the world under an Islam banner. They believe there is no room for any other religion. And any muslim that says they want a peaceful coexistence with others is either lying to you or themselves. Their religion says its okay to lie to anyone not a muslim. So when someone cries about why there is no coverage of how we bomb them or shoot them or whatever, I just get so boiling mad. We would leave them be if they would stop doing things like Paris. Like 9/11, like London, like Moscow. We would leave them alone if they would stop trying to usurp our countries, our religions, our laws, our customs and our traditions. But they will NEVER stop. People really need to understand this. I do not want harm to come to anyone. But I will also not sit by while they decide to cause me, mine or other innocent people harm. Enough is enough.
Moderate Islam. Extreme Islam. Peaceful Islam.
These are all the same.
They want nothing more than the total annihilation of those who are NOT Islam. Thats it. Bottom line. Its what their religion, what their "prophet", what their entire ideology calls for. Their "great book" calls for the destruction of infidels. Make no mistake about it, thats us, folks. Thats anyone NOT muslim, NOT followers of the prophet. NOT believers in Islam.
For those who say "they don't know any better" I say BAH!
People have brains. People have common sense. If you are taught and indoctrinated into thinking this is right, then you are foolish. You are mindless. You don't know how to use your brain and think for yourself.
How many Germans fought against Hitler because they knew it was wrong? How many fought Stalin? The czars? These people were taught and indoctrinated into a certain belief. And they KNEW it was wrong. These people WANT to believe its right to cause the genocide of the world that is not Islam.
So I don't want to hear that they don't know any better because its what they were taught. Its like all those morons who were taught differently but decide to join these cowards and murderers. They WANT to do what is wrong!
So if you want to play all nicey-nice and sympathetic to them, and let them kill you. Go for it.
Me and mine? I'm not going let anyone do this. And you can call me mean, heartless or whatever. I don't play nice with someone dedicated to destroying me and my way of life.
Agree, disagree, I just don't care anymore. You want to be sheep and let them erase you, you want to listen to the spin that our bogus leaders are spewing, you want to NOT think for yourself . . . by all means, go ahead. This is just me, Thinking Out Loud and deciding enough is enough of being silent.

Nuke 'em all, let God sort them out . . . or something like that
There
was a story online about a billboard
(http://madworldnews.com/picture-perfect-solution-jihadists/).
The billboard, put out there by the US Marine Corps, reads, “Its
God's job to judge the terrorists – Its our mission to arrange the
meeting.”
This,
as you might guess, made lots of people comment. Some were the
supportive, Semper Fi-ish comments and others were of the typically
uneducated sod kind.
One
in particular caught my eye and I felt I needed to respond.
It
was from a Brian Johnson of Denver, Colorado. He wrote:
“Good
old religious fervor!! There are so many things wrong with this
billboard statement:
- First and foremost, is not one of the Christian Commandments, Thou shalt not kill? If in fact you truly follow the Christian religion, these kinds of statements go directly against what you preach. You can't have it both ways
- According to their beliefs, they are doing what is right (and it exactly mirrors what this billboard suggests; ridding to world of your religious "enemies"). So if Christians follow this billboard statement, then they are no better than the people they wish to kill under the guise of religion.
I find it odd that the most consistent and grotesque comment these days comes from the so called Religious Conservative/Tea Party group who believe in small gov't and limited spending, but then vocally state that our military should go in and wipe the place clean (meaning the Middle East). Really? And this is a way to reduce gov't spending?
While I do not agree for one moment with what the ISIS/ISIL group is doing, I also do not condone what Israel, Syria, Russia, etc. are doing right now either. And even in our own back yard there are numerous examples of actions perpetrated by the USA in the name of "Freedom" or "Democracy" that are reprehensible. This rock we call "Earth" is an imperfect place and the sooner that the world's religious zealots realize this, the better off we as Humans in general will be. Humans are just one species on this planet, but we are also the species that has committed the most egregious acts against each other and our living environment.
It's time for the US to get off their high-horse, step back from the world leader stage to better grasp what our true issues are here at home and deal with them, and get away from this Manifest Destiny idea. Far too many US citizens state their opinions with conviction, yet those same opinions have no substance or merit to back them. America needs to turn off the brain-washing, mind-altering, agenda-driven boob-tube called television "news" and get back to reading and interpreting various news sources with a critical, questioning approach.....don't believe everything you read just because it is written.”

I
felt compelled to educate, as well as applaud in a few spots, this
person (don't know if he was a young man, old man, veteran, peacenik,
or even a woman). Therefore, my response, verbatim, was this:
“Brian,
I am of several thoughts concerning your comments. Shooting to the
end of you comments, you are accurate about America needing to
concentrate more on home (although your right wing / tea party focus
is slightly delusional - all politicians, right and left, make use of
people's passion for their true agenda of power). Instead of sending
billions overseas, we do indeed need to start looking at feeding our
hungry, sheltering our homeless and educating our young.
As
to America stepping off their high horse and abandoning the
leadership role in world affairs, I must disagree. By doing all the
things we need to do for our own people first, America should once
more be the shining hope, the example to others in world affairs. We
once were. America was the example many people looked to for ways of
shoring up their own country's problems.
Now
to the heart of your comments, the beginning. You need to stop
listening to whoever it is YOU are being a sheep about. The actual
translation from the original Hebrew is not simplistically "thou
shalt not kill" it is a more nuanced word that means kill
egregiously - that is, to murder. And it is a "commandment"
that pre-dates Christianity. But even then, I think the Hitites,
Amalites and the citizens of Jericho might have been as confused as
you that God would command do not kill and then send his people to do
just that. But if you are going to espouse that people start doing
due diligence to get their facts and information straight, you should
as well.
Now
as far as the terrorist just doing what he believes in, if they
embrace Islam and say this is the ideal from which their actions
flow, then they are being deluded by those who are teaching them. The
Koran does not condone the actions these murderers are committing.
The leadership of the terror organizations throughout the world teach
uneducated / disillusioned / crazies a warped and twisted version of
the ideals the Koran embodies. So to say that they are just doing
what they believe in and should be left alone (not what you said, but
what you imply), you argue from a viewpoint that is, itself, flawed
by misinformation. Again, a little research on your part about
Muhammad (and the fact his wife took over his teaching when he died
and only half quotes are used when defending certain actions) and the
actual text of the Koran might enlighten you on what it says.
If
a serial killer was running around your neighborhood targeting blonde
women, you would be all "lets go nail that
right now!" Especially if you had a wife or daughter or sister
who was blonde. If someone told you that he believed blonde women
were from Satan because Eve was obviously a brunette (all the
pictures show this), I am sure you would say not be saying, "well
if he believes this then we should just let him be."
Long
winded, I know, but I wanted to point out some areas in your thinking
that may need to be revisited once you had more information.”
Now
I don't believe Mr. Brian Johnson of Denver, Colorado will even read
let alone heed anything I have just posted. But even if it gets one
person to think for themselves I will have won a small victory toward
educating a world in deductive reasoning that sorely needs it.
But
don't take my word. Agree or disagree, I don't care, just so long as
you think for yourself and stop being sheep. Because, hey, this is
just me, Thinking Out Loud.
Have
a great day.
Charles

script – or to the layman, p.s.
All
that being said, the real problem we have is not with the whiny
liberals or the soft hearted do-gooders or even the fanatical
terrorists themselves.
No,
the real problem lies with a Muslim world that is just fine with all
this terror. So long as they just sit idly by they can justify the
spread (by elimination of everyone else) of Islam and feel smug that
THEY had no hand in all these atrocious acts of
cowardice and barbarism.
post post script - or is it post script script . . . anyway . . .
The title of this piece comes from an old t-shirt I had back in the early 80's when I was in the Navy. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Texas Education? NOT!
This is what passes for education in the Texas school system. A teacher - whom the students say felt uncomfortable teaching this but it was "in the curriculum" - has students dressing up like Islamists, calling terrorists "freedom fighters" and sugar coating genocide (referring to the Holocaust as "ethnic cleansing").
Understanding other cultures is one thing, blatantly waxing over evil is something completely different.
If you are form Texas, you should be embarrassed by this story. If you are in the military, you should be outraged that this is what you are defending. If you are a victim of terrorism (here or in any where in the world) - which is, in my mind, nothing but the actions of cowards - you should be stunned and hurt. If you are an American, you should be calling the state officials responsible for this out!
The Holocaust was systematic murder with the intent of wiping out an entire culture, religion, heritage, genetic group. It was the actions of madmen who felt that simply by virtue of birth they were superior. ALL ETHNIC CLEANSING is this, no matter it was in Germany, Serbia, Uganda, Rwanda, ANYWHERE! It was / is murder. Cold, calculated, deliberate and premeditated murder. To say otherwise is sick. To teach otherwise is dangerous and reprehensible.
Islam has a long history of being a culture of advancement, beauty and richness. The modern version of extremist Islam is nothing but a bunch of thugs and manipulators with insane agendas. To represent it as anything else is not education, it is brainwashing.
Go ahead . . . agree or disagree. I don't care. But think about what this truly is and how it impacts not only the students of this twisted school system, but the future of this country. And decide if you want murderous thugs being portrayed as the good guys. If you do, shame on you. If you don't, get those letters and phone calls and emails flying to the Lone Star State! They need to be made aware of their sickness. But hell, what do I know? This is just me, after all, Thinking Out Loud.
Try to have a good day.

To Stand Against Hypocrisy
A blogger colleague wrote about this and I just had to share and add my two cents. Read this and then continue.
Lori brought attention to the video of Veena Malik showing grace and intelligence in the face of the narrow minded and "pick and choose" ideology that has become Islam. I was so blown away by the power and conviction of Ms Malik. And I feared for her life as well. My oldest daughter was shocked when I told her about the video because she said that women like that are usually stoned to death in these backward countries. And I agree that her life has become a target of these hypocrites in cleric's robes.
So long ago, these lands held to a higher standard of intellect and understanding. From the Middle East came great leaps in philosophy and math and science. The culture of these lands was revered around the world. Their savvy trade and artistry was renowned.
But today, due to fanatical adherence to a redacted version of their faith, they have become feared and hated. Their core beliefs that terrorism is good (the whole 72 virgins lie told to illiterate and hopeless people) and that women are subservient, that they are not worthy of respect and equality, has been a warping of their founding laws. They have been perverted by greedy and insane for power leaders that have them ignoring not only their origins, but their culture and the truth in their faith.
Now I am not in any way saying that there is not ignorance and hypocrisy in other countries or other faiths, far from it. But the hypocrisy in Islam has so much farther reaching consequences where it leads to shopping malls being blown up and office buildings being leveled and school buses being targeted and two thirds of their own populations being held as less than worthy, needs a proverbial kick in the "arse" as Lori so eloquently put it.
Agree, disagree, it makes no difference. But so long as I have educated you in another way of thinking, so long as I have gotten you out of the habit of taken what others (including myself) say as gospel and start thinking for yourselves, I will have accomplished my objective. As for me, it makes no matter, since I am, as always, just Thinking Out Loud.
Have a great day.

It is un-American to burn it!
The Dove World Outreach Center is not a Christian church. Pastor Terry Jones is not a Christian pastor. And he and his "congregation" are not Americans.
Here is why I say all this. It is NOT Christian to burn ANY book, let alone a book of religious signifigance. It is NOT Christian to host an "International Burn a Quran Day." It is NOT Christian to condemn a whole group of people for the actions of fanatics. Any Christian will tell you that God has commanded us to 1) love one another, 2) forgive one another, 3) leave the job of justice to Him. Pastor Jones is a lunatic no better than al-Queada.
They are not Americans because this country was founded on principles based on the Judeo-Christian influence. (I know many don't like the Judeo-Christian hyphenation, but they - as well as the Islamic faith - have THE SAME GOD). And it was founded by people fleeing religious persecution who wanted to be able to practice their faith in peace. America was founded on principles of religious tolerance. I also say they are not Americans because Americans would not do anything so stupid that would directly, as a result of their actions, cause the deaths of American service men and women.
And this latter is exactly what these actio0ns would do. If it was just some stupid stunt that would make people mad, I'd say "whatever" and tell people to ignore them. But this will (has already) igniote violence that will cost young American men and women to lose their lives for no better reason than some brain dead HATER who is NOT CHRISTIAN in any way shape or form wants their few minutes of fame (or more accurately, infamy).
For those who would say to me that this is his right under the First Amendment, I say yuo are WRONG! It is not allowed, even with the First Amendment, to yell 'fire' in a crowded theater. And it is just as not allowed for this lunatic to be allowed to do something that will, and I cannot repeat this enough for all of you to understand, result in the DEATHS OF AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN!
So here is my right under the First Amendment. I am calling for everyone who loves this country, who are religious in any way, who supports our men and women in the military, who doesn't want to see someone's son/husband/brother/dad/uncle or someone's daughter/mother/wife/sister/aunt be jeopardized by this ridiculous move, call or write or visit or email or in any way possible (BEFORE 9/11 - this Saturday), express PEACEFULLY that you are adamantly opposed to this event occurring. Here is the "church's" contact information:
Dove World Outreach Center
5805 Northwest 37th Street
Gainesville, FL 32653
(352) 371-2487
Agree, disagree, it doesn't matter. SO long as I get you to think for yourself and understand all the issues involved in this lame brained move, I will have done my job. Because hey, this is just me, Thinking Out Loud.
Have a blessed day.
